3 Easy Microwave Mug Cakes

Three amazing Microwave Mug Cake Recipes that will satisfy those snack cravings! A leftover Halloween candy mug cake, a Lofthouse sugar cookie mug cake, and some amazing chocolate peanut butter cup mug cake - three delicious microwave treats. The leftover Halloween candy mug cake really is the perfect way to use up any Halloween candy you have left over!

How to make Leftover Halloween Candy Mug Cake

Steps

You will need a small mug about 6oz (170ml) in size.

Melt the butter in your mug.

Add the sugar and mix to combine.

Add the baking powder, flour and milk and mix to combine.

Mix in your favorite halloween candy. MIX IT IN. Do NOT place any on top.

Scrape the bottom of the mug, clean the edges and place the mug in the center of your microwave. Cook on high for 1 minute 10 seconds.

Quickly add some more candy on top and microwave for an additional 20 seconds.

The reason we add the candy on top at the end is so it doesn't burn.

How to make Lofthouse Sugar Cookie Mug Cake

Steps

You will need a small mug about 6oz (170ml) in size.

Melt the butter in your mug.

Add the sugar, vanilla extract (be careful when dosing this) and room temperature milk and mix to combine.

Add the baking powder and flour and mix to combine.

Scrape the bottom of the mug, clean the edges and place the mug in the center of your microwave. Cook on high for between 1 minute and 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Mix together powdered sugar and milk and drizzle over your mug cake.

Careful when adding the milk, you'll only need a really small amount.

Enjoy warm.

How to make Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Mug Cake

You will need a small mug about 6oz (170ml) in size.

Melt the butter in your mug.

Add the sugar, and cocoa powder and mix to combine.

Add the baking powder and flour and warm milk and mix to combine.

Scrape the bottom of the mug, clean the edges and place the mug in the center of your microwave. Cook on high for between 1 minute and 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Allow the mug cake to sit for 2 minutes, then carve out the center and add a dollop of peanut butter.

Cover and add drizzle with chocolate sauce/chocolate spread/ ganache

Enjoy warm.

45 g (3 tbsp) warm Milk

35 g (4 tbsp) All purpose flour

½ tsp Baking powder

Pinch of Salt

Any Halloween Candy of your choice

Lofthouse Sugar Cookie Mug Cake

20 g (1½ tbsp) Butter

15 g (1 tbsp) Sugar

45 g (3 tbsp )warm Milk

35 g (4 tbsp) All purpose flour

½ tsp Baking powder

Pinch of Salt

One dash (¼ tsp) of vanilla extract

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Mug Cake

20 g (1½ tbsp) Butter

20 g (1½ tbsp) Sugar

45 g (3 tbsp) warm Milk

30 g (3½ tbsp) All purpose flour

1½ tbsp Cocoa Powder

½ tsp Baking powder

Pinch of Salt

A dollop of peanut butter
