Ingredients
For the dough
80 g (⅓ cup) Soft butter
150 g (½ cup + 1 tbsp) Room temperature Nutella
1 Egg
½ tsp Baking soda
½ tsp Baking powder
150 g (1¼ cups) All purpose flour
1 tbsp Cocoa powder
For the nutella filling
1 tbsp Refrigerated Nutella
Method
For the dough
Cream together the butter and Nutella.
Add the egg, and mix.
Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
Form cookies and flatten. Place a dollop of refrigerated Nutella in the center of each cookie and give the cookies their final shape.
Freeze cookies at least for 3 hours then bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (150 °F) for 12 to 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely.
