Ingredients
For the cookies
200 g (2 sticks) Soft butter
150 g (¾ cup) Brown sugar
150 g (¾ cup) White sugar
2 Eggs
400 g (3 cups) All purpose flour
¾ tsp Baking soda
¾ tsp Salt
300 g (11 oz) Chocolate
80 g (⅔ cup) Walnuts
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Method
For the cookies
Cream together the butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
Add the eggs and mix.
Add the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder, and use your hands to bring the dough together.
Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Form the cookies using an ice cream scoop or your hands. Each cookie should weigh 150 g (2 packed ice cream scoops).
Freeze the cookies for at least 30 minutes.
Place the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (400 °F) for 12 - 14 minutes.
Serve warm.

The recipe makes 6 - 8 big cookies. If you're making smaller cookies, the baking time will be different.
Do NOT use the fan-assisted mode of your oven for this recipe.
