Ingredients
For the cookies
140 g (1 cup + 1 tbsp) All purpose flour
100 g (1 stick) Unsalted butter
120 g (½ cup + 2 tbsp) White sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract (optional)
2 Egg Yolks
½ tsp Salt
¾ tsp Baking powder
½ tsp Baking soda
Sprinkles (optional)
Method
For the cookies
Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Add the egg yolks and mix.
Add the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Form the cookies using an ice cream scoop, or by hand.
Place the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) for 13 minutes.
Tips
Store the cookies in an air-tight container.
