Ingredients
13 g (1 tbsp) Butter or flavorless oil
15 g (¾ tbsp) Sugar
30 g (2 tbsp) Milk
25 g (3 tbsp) All purpose flour
¼ tsp Baking powder
Maple Syrup
Method
You will need a small mug about 6oz (170ml) in size.
Melt the butter in your mug.
Add the sugar and room temperature milk and mix to combine.
Add the baking powder and flour and mix to combine.
Scrape the bottom of the mug, clean the edges and place the mug in the center of
your microwave. Cook on high for 1 minute.
Serve hot with maple syrup.
Tips
If you’re using grams, please be precise and use the exact amounts in the
recipe. If you're using spoons use measuring spoons made specifically for baking.
Every microwave is different. Mug cakes can take anywhere between 1
minute - 1 minute and 15 seconds. Be careful not over cook your cake.
Remember, different ingredients have different densities. So don’t get confused when you see in the ingredients that 2 tbsp of flour and 2 tbsp of sugar have different amounts in grams.
