INGREDIENTS

(Makes 1 large Double Chocolate Chip cookie)

20 g (1½ tbsp) Butter

25 g (1¾ tbsp) White Sugar

15 g (1 tbsp) Milk

50 g (⅓ cup) All purpose flour

7 g Unsweetened Cocoa Powder ( 1 tbsp)

⅛ tsp Baking soda

⅛ tsp Salt

3-4 tbsp Chocolate Chips

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt the butter in the microwave.

Add sugar and room temperature milk, and mix to combine.

In another bowl mix the dry ingredients together - the flour, the cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Stir the dry ingredients together with the wet ingredients until a dough forms.

Add the chocolate chips and bring the dough together with your hands.

Form a 8 to 9 cm ( 3 - 3.5 inch) diameter cookie and press it down onto a piece of parchment paper. It’s important to make the cookie this size, so the it cooks correctly in the microwave.

Place the cookie on the parchment paper in your microwave and cook on high for 1 minute to 1 minute and 10 seconds.

Allow the cookie to cool for 5-8 minutes or it will fall apart. Enjoy this cookie warm and fresh out of the microwave.

Tips

This cookie is meant to be eaten fresh and warm. Once it goes cold it will harden.

Please be precise and use the exact amounts given in the recipe.

Every microwave is different. The cook time in your microwave could be anywhere between 1 minute and  1 minute and 15 seconds. Be careful to not overcook the cookie.

Once it comes out of the microwave it should be very soft. Allow the cookie to cool for 5 minutes to allow it to set before eating.
